About Our Firm

A modern law practice rooted in Aruba's unique legal landscape, combining Dutch legal tradition with Caribbean dynamism and American service standards.

Legal Excellence in the Heart of the Caribbean

Glas & Glas Attorneys and Consultancy (Aruba) VBA is a full-service law firm based in Oranjestad, the capital of Aruba. We practice under Dutch and Aruban law, serving both the local Aruban community and an international clientele with a strong focus on corporate and commercial matters.

As a constituent country within the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Aruba operates under a civil law system derived from Dutch legal principles, while maintaining its own legislature and court system. This unique position makes our jurisdiction an ideal bridge between European, American, and Caribbean legal frameworks.

We believe that great legal counsel requires more than knowledge of the law — it demands vision, tenacity, and an unwavering commitment to our clients' success.

The Eagle — Our Symbol

Since ancient times, the eagle has represented the highest virtues of leadership, justice, and vision. It is the perfect emblem for a law firm committed to protecting and empowering its clients.

Glas & Glas Eagle Logo GLAS & GLAS ATTORNEYS & CONSULTANCY

The eagle symbolizes political leadership, imperial power, sovereignty, freedom, and independence — much like the bald eagle of the United States. In religious tradition, it represents St. John the Evangelist and the ascension of Christ, embodying the connection between the earthly and the divine.

Above all, the eagle embodies courage, strength, and the perfect balance between physical power and spiritual wisdom. Its legendary sharp vision — the ability to see through deception and perceive truth from great heights — makes it the ideal symbol for a law firm dedicated to justice and advocacy.

Est. LWYRUP

The LWYRUP Heritage

Inspired by the audacity and relentless advocacy of television's most unforgettable attorney. We took the spirit and made it real.

Better Call Glas & Glas

Yes, the license plate is real. Yes, we love Better Call Saul. And yes, we are absolutely serious about the law.

The iconic LWYRUP vanity plate on our white Cadillac is more than a pop culture reference — it is a statement. Like Saul Goodman's memorable promise that everyone deserves representation, we believe that bold advocacy and creative legal thinking can transform outcomes. But unlike the fictional attorney of Albuquerque, we operate with full professional integrity within the courts of Aruba.

We combine American-style client service — responsive, proactive, and results-oriented — with Caribbean warmth and the rigorous standards of the Dutch legal tradition. It is the best of all worlds, delivered from one of the most beautiful islands on Earth.
